World Decathlon champion Roman Šebrle (CZE) is the winner of the IAAF World Combined Events Challenge 2007 and receive a prize of US$30000. The standings were calculated after the completion of the final qualification competition, the Decastar meeting in Talence, France, last weekend (22 / 23 Sep).
Prize Money (US$) paid by the IAAF descended down to eighth place accordingly – 2nd 20000, 3rd 15000, 4th 10000, 5th 8000, 6th 7000, 7th 6000, and 8th 5000.
The outcome of the Challenge was based on points accumulated at any three of this year’s thirteen qualifying competitions.
