Another indoor season has passed and here are some interesting facts.

Best 60m: Bryan Clay 6.67 sec followed by Ashton Eaton 6.71. This way Eaton becomes the fourth 60m runner all time.

Best long jump: Olexiy Kasyanov with a new world record in heptathlon 8.04m.

Best shot put: Aleksei Drozdov with a new world record in heptathlon 17.17m and believe it or not, doing this in a heptathlon with the same points total as the previous world record holder (17.13m) Guido Kratschmer – 6141 points.

Best high jump: Cory Holman and Andrei Krauchanka 2.18m.

Best 60m hurdles: Ashton Eaton 7.77 sec. Only Bryan Clay and Jangy Addy have ever run faster (both 7.74).

Best pole vault: Eelco Sintnicolaas 5.40m.

Best 1000m: Curtis Beach with a new world record in heptathlon 2.27.88.

Best first day: Aleksei Drozdov 3660 points.

Best second day: Ashton Eaton with a new world record in heptathlon 2938 points.

Best total running events: Ashton Eaton with a new world record in heptathlon 2985 points.

Best total jumping events: Aleksei Drozdov 2863 points.

Best heptathlon: Ashton Eaton with a new world record 6499 points.

Also, Roman Sebrle did an age world record and a world record 19th time 6000 points or more heptathlon.
