It is very interesting that Zelezny's javelin world record is the second-highest scoring event among all the world records - even more amazing statistic because javelin is one of the lowest-rewarding events in the decathlon tables! Amazing!

I see that Tim Lobinger is given the world record for pole vault. However his decathlon result is nor legal according to World Atlhetics. Hence he has no legal 7000 mark in that decathlon.

World athletics considered non-legal due to the lack of measured wind in the long jump.

But this does not call into question the performance of 5.76 or the total of 7346 points. This performance is unanimously considered as a WR in PV decathlon.

PS : the discus throw Lemme's performance would also have to be downgraded if we didn't accept some "freedom" in the rules of WR in decathlon.
