My name is Janek. I live in Estonia and I am huge fan of combined events. I started with Decathlon 2000 in 1999 just because I couldn't find enough information about combined events on the Internet.

I remember asking for some results from the sports editor of one of the leading Estonian daily newspapers of that time. The reply that I received was extremely short (without the results of separate events) and included a commentary that theoretically it could be possible to get the results with a single click of the mouse, but it could really happen only in distant future. Stubbornly I decided to take matters into my own hands and thus Decathlon 2000 was born.
