One hour decathlon - world all-time list

Jens Schulze, Ahlen 1981: 7029 pts.
It must have been a 30 minute decathlon, which has been the common short version by that time.
I don't see a reason not to count the result in this list (since it fits the rules as well).

Schrader in moscow has showcased again that he's the ultimate competitor. If healthy he does not lose concentration over the course of a decathlon.
Health will however remain a problem. I hope that his body allows him to compete in Rio 2016.
His cumulated PB do make 8896 pts (not 8895)

What a comeback including PBs in 100m, Shotput, Highhurdles and Discus. Wheather conditions decreased thereafter, but he managed to finish with 8427 pts = Leading the world 2013.
Congrats to Michael Schrader!
The decathlon in Ulm has been a potential qualifier for moscow. This might make the other germans (Behrenbruch, Freimuth, Knobel) think twice, whether it makes sense to finish Götzis if 8427 aren't in reach, since the complicated german qualifying system warrants 2 starting spots to the #1 and #2 finisher of Ratingen (in case they finish above 8300)
--> In theory: a decathlete who finishes 2nd place in Ratingen with 8300 would qualify, while another, who finishes with 8426 in Götzis wouldn't ...
